Female celebrities who were born rich: Nigerian celebrities have stories of humble beginnings, being poor, broke or relating tales of suffering. Some others on the other hand had parents who sought to give them the best of life. Some of them were born abroad, others were born in Nigeria but left immediately after high school. Rita Dominic is a fascinating Nigerian actress and singer who is the youngest of 4 siblings. Her late parents were medical practitioners; her father was a medical doctor and her mother a nursing officer.
The actress was born into the Royal Waturuocha family of Aboh Mbaisu region in Imo State, Nigeria.
2. DJ Cuppy
Florence Otedola, better known as D.J Cuppy is a Nigerian-British entertainer, disc jocker and celebrity. She launched her new project, House of Cuppy on 8th August 2014.
Her Father is Billionaire Femi Otedola, CEO Forte Oil Plc. He is also the Nigerian President and CEO of Zenon Petroleum and Gas Limited.
3. Osas Ighodaro
Ighodaro was born in Bronx, New York, United States, to Nigerian parents from Edo State. She obtained her first degree in broadcast journalism with dual minors in entrepreneurship and theater from Pennsylvania State University.
4. Tolu Oniru
Tolu Oniru, popularly known as Toolz, is a Nigerian radio personality, talk show host, and presenter. She is best known for hosting The Midday Show on The Beat 99.9 FM. Her parents are part of the famous Oniru Royal family of Lagos State.
5. Omawumi
Singer, Omawumi was born to Chief Dr. Frank and Mrs. Aya Megbele on 13 April 1982. After graduating in 2005, she moved to Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where she worked with her family’s law firm called “O.S Megbele & Associates”
